Chilwaria Power Division (CPD) has an installed capacity of 38 MW of power generation. The power plant is located in vicinity of Simbhaoli Sugar complex at Chilwaria. Company has modified its existing dumping grate boilers to travelling grate and installed 18 MW condensing cum extraction and bleed type steam turbine driven generator set to enable the Company to operate during off season and use variety of fuels in the boiler.

CPD has two boilers of 80 TPH each (dumping grate). It also contains 2 bleed-cum-back-pressure turbines with rated capacity of 20 MW & 18MW.
